Graham is one of the founding partners at Wordley Partnership having been a partner in the insurance/reinsurance group of an international law firm headquartered in the City of London where he worked for 13 years. He specialises in national and international dispute resolution as well as insurance and reinsurance including: advising on (re)insurance product development; defending clients against proceedings and regulatory investigations; and, advising clients on insurance and reinsurance coverage disputes.
In (re)insurance his expertise is focussed on advising and acting on high value and complex defence and (re)insurance coverage matters in the following areas: professional negligence/indemnity; corporate liability and management liability; fidelity/crime; marine cargo; trade credit; political risk and property damage; business interruption and contingent business interruption claims (including Bermuda Form arbitrations). Graham has also advised (including drafting) on policy wordings as well as acted as a virtual General Counsel for insurance brokers.
Graham’s practice also includes commercial and insolvency litigation where he has been involved in advising clients (companies, partnerships and directors) on their defence in high value commercial litigation and regulatory investigations as well as defending companies involved in insolvency proceedings.
In terms of his cross border experience, Graham has advised on matters involving many jurisdictions around the world, including Europe; Scandinavia; the Middle East; Africa; North and South America; and Australia.
